The Story of Eleganza Beauty Croatia: Created by coincidence and love

In 2018, Laurens Van der Heyden embarked on his first journey to Croatia, a country that had long fascinated him. What began as an exploration turned into a deep connection—not only with the country but also with Sara, a Croatian woman who later became his wife. After years of traveling between Belgium and Croatia, he decided in May 2022 to make a permanent move to Opatija, where he would build a new life. It didn’t take long for him to realize how significant beauty and fashion are in Croatian culture and how deeply rooted this industry is.
During this time, he remained in close collaboration with Ilan, a good friend and founder of Eleganza Beauty, who introduced him to the beauty industry. His experience as a Customer Success Manager and IT Solutions Consultant proved to be the perfect fit for this field. Laurens quickly recognized the growing demand for safe and high-quality beauty treatments in Croatia, and together with Ilan, the idea for Eleganza Beauty Croatia was born.
During this time, he remained in close collaboration with Ilan and Julie, good friends and the founders of Eleganza Beauty, who introduced him to the beauty industry.
